swollin cheek

i fell down and hit my cheek i went to the doctor and they said i had bleeding under the skin and it stopped but my face is swollin and feels like a golfball under my eye how can i get the swelling down
 
Welcome to the boards, Gsat. I am surprised the doctor did not tell you to take over the counter anti-inflammatories and put ice on the area.

Make sure not to sleep on that side of your face either. If you sleep on your side and tend to roll over to that side during the night, have a pillow behind your back. This will stop you from rolling too far and putting pressure on your cheek.
