swollen tongue or uvula

i cant see the back of my throat i gotta push my tongue to see my uvul but its resting on my tongue i have eaten nothing different i cant be dehydrated i dont drink or smoke

i can breathe but cant take deep breathes nor can i yawn right

i have gargled with salt and water
taken halls
taken tyenol
drank hot chocolate
drank LOTS of water

it went down a bit from 2 nights ago

im going to the doctors in 5-7 hours and i was wondering if i could do anything for comfort cuz its rlly annoying
 
I would try something cold and see if that helps decrease the swelling. Cold shrinks swelling, so the theory would be that it should help the swelling go down. Try sucking on a piece of ice and see if that does any good..
