swollen tongue and throat. earache, painful cough and stuffy nose

i have had really bad earache, cough , cold and fever and now i have a swollen tongue and throat. it feels uncomfortable and i'm wheezing a little.
please help :(
 
It might be time to go to your doctor for some antibiotics.

Meanwhile, hot tea with honey might relieve the throat pain a little. Hang in there, it'll get better.
 
Have you taken any meRAB (rx or otc) for the first symptoms of cough, cold, fever? I ask because it's possible that the swelling of the throat and tongue along with wheezing is an allergic reaction to meRAB you may be taking. If that's the case you should at the very least call your doctor. If this is an allergic reaction it could turn serious very quickly.

All the symptoms you're describing are going around in a big way right now. I don't know what it is but it's horrible. The roof of my MIL's mouth turned purple with this stuff! It lasts over two weeks.
