MY little grand daughter of 4 have this swollen lymphnodes at the back of her neck. She also gets a very high fever - sometimes over 40degrees. At first sight the pediatrician diagnosed cellulitis or an abscess. She was taken in hospital on drip and treated with rocephin,chrochilites that seems not to work. She is treated now with cloxallin. The also put in a needles but there was not anything to drain - so no abscess.
They also did a catscan but didnt' find anything major. She was admitted in hospital on Monday, now on Saturday she still gets fever and her eyes are turning pink. Can you help?
