Swollen Lymph Node/Parotid Gland??? Help!

A few months back, I've posted the following thread, which is now closed: http://www.healthboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=590751

In a nutshell, I started to develop what seems to be a swollen lymph node/parotid gland (right below my left ear, towards the jaw bone). I have this on my right side as well but it's not nearly as large as the left. Mysteriously, the swelling comes and goes on its own. I used to think it's from chewing too much gum but then after some more thorough observation, I concluded that it's related with my nasal blockage.

I've had an ultrasound of this entire area (and it came back completely normal) as well as a CT scan of my head (also normal). The results put me to rest for the time being, but since I'm still having the problem, I'm wondering if a CT scan of my *head* would've shown something and if perhaps I need to request that. An ENT specialist couldn't help with the lymph node, but noticed some blockage in my nose. He said it was minor, although I've had a chronic breathing problem all my life, so we decided to try turbinate reduction, which was done yesterday. My left nostril is the "ill" one and I've noticed this morning (it's now very congested) that the lump on the left side is big again.

I'm really not sure what to think now or who to turn to. It seems that I've hit a dead end with all the specialists I've seen thus far. Does anyone have any idea what this could be, taking into account that the ultrasound and the head CT scan results came back perfectly normal??? Should I still be concerned??? Wouldn't one of these two tests be able to show a cyst of some kind? Could this be dental by chance? Please help! Any input would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
