Swollen Lymph Node in Neck for many years

Hello, I'm 18 years old and I've had a swollen lymph node above my collarbone my left side of my neck for about 2/3 years now. It grew when I had a bad case of strep throat a few years back and has never really returned to its original size. I've had a doctor look at them and I've been told when she felt them that there's nothing to worry about, but that was a few years ago as well. I have no other symptoms at all. Although I do have asthma, and I am vocals in a hardcore/metal band which involves screaming a few times a week.

The node itself is semi-squishy, probably the size of a dime, and it feels like I can move it around (althought it could just be my fingers moving around it?)

Let me know what I should do.

Get a second opinion. If there is cause for concern they will suggest that you have a biopsy if not they will advise you to leave it alone.

Have you ever had mono? Did they test for it when you had the strep? I ask because I had mono when I was a teenager and one gland on the side of my neck got very very swollen and never fully returned to normal. I'm 41 now.
