Switching phones

My boyfriend and I recently got Cricket two days ago and he is unhappy with his phone. I am willing to switch him my phone. Is there any possible way to switch phones so that we can both keep our same nuraber we have right now? If so, can we do it ourselves? Where do we find this information? Or do we have to go to a Cricket store? Does anyone know if they charge for this? Thanks in advance.

BTW: The phones are a Kyocera Candid and a UTStarcom 7025
 
Yeah but they are supposed to charge $15 for each phone. take it back to where you got it and see if they'll do it for free to keep you a happy customer. I've done it for my customers, and also to get a free month out of cricket when someone want's to change their phone and activate the old phone on a new line... if the store you got it from won't do it you'll have to try to get the nuraber for escalated customer care issues, cause regular customer care won't do it for free... i can just about guaranty you of that. regular customer care does not have the ability to do nice things like give credits and stuff (as far as i know anyways).

oh yeah i don't have that nuraber.... all i know is that it goes to corporate HQ in San Diego and i think it enRAB in 9999. if anyone knows it i would like to get it from you.
