Switching LG Phones on Verizon

I want to switch from a version wireless voyager (V Cast Multimedia Phone w Touch Screen by LG) to a more simple verizon wireless LG (VX5500).

I want to confirm that I can do this without paying verisons hundreds of dollars.

Well, you'll have to pay for the cost of the phone of course. As far as activating the new phone, you can do that online:
