I'm currently a 2nd year University student and I've decided to join the reserve. Thing is I want to join the army reserve, basically because I'm young, fit, want a physical and psychological challenge....and I want to shoot guns and blow stuff up. The reserve will pay for basically 50% of my tuition as well. I'm curious as to the degree of difficulty one would have if they were to be in the army reserve for 2 or 3 years through university, but upon graduation decided to/want to commission as a naval officer. Is this an easy thing to do? a difficult thing to do? does the military frown upon it or make it a complicated process?
Any useful information is greatly appreciated.
