Switches on a 2000 Toyota Celica?

Hi, I recently got a 2000 Toyota Celica, and there are two switches that I don't know the use of. They aren't mentioned anywhere in the owners manual. The switches are located to the left of the steering wheel, underneath the dash, and above the hood release.
