switched to new antibiotic when to take?

Hi,

I have a nasty sinus infection, and the first antibiotic I was prescribed hasn't touched it, so they switched to another one.

Can I take the new one (ceftin) when I would have taken the next dose of the old one(amoxicillin), or do I have to wait a whole day?

you can take the new one immediately. Did the doc tell you to finish the old one?

The amoxicillin wasn't working so I'm not going to finish it, just start the new one.
