switch from a manual trans to auto in 1988 ford F-150?

Steering column from an automatic truck, ECU from an automatic truck (if EFI), and probably the driveshaft from the automatic truck. Frankly, not worth it. The autos fail too easily anyways. Just find someone to rebuilt it or look further away for a standard.
 
what do I need to do to convert my pickup from a man trans to an auto? my man trans seized up, and I cant seem to find another one that will fit in my 2 wheel drive truck
