I am wondering when i will be able to swing a bat again. I had surgery on December 22nd 2010 on my right shoulder and i bat right handed. In therapy i am way ahead, my therapist told me they havent seen anyone gain as fast as i am. I have just about all of my motion back already and am starting to strengthen it back to where it was. I can already swing a bat moderately with no pain. I have read articles about people starting to swing at 4 months but that just seems way too far off. i am supposed to start throwing again next month but havent been told when i would be able to swing a bat. So i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or know the right time I should be back hitting again?
The reason i havent asked my doctor is because it takes time to get an appointment with him.. The office is an hour away from where im at school and i cant just take time off because i have to be at practice and games with the baseball team..
