When I was listening to some jazz composition, such as Autumn leaves, I noticed that the swing of the quarter notes or eight notes doesn't come regularly. Some quarter notes played straight. I wonder if I am right about that. The swing comes naturally by listening to the song, and there is not usually any specific technique to derive a rule out of it?
