so i've been dancing for about 1 year now. i've taken classes to work on my technique, frame, footwork, musicality, and learn new fun moves! but i'm still having trouble hearing the music when i dance. sometimes partly do to focusing so much on the moves, anticipating a lil. but also i don't always hear the "1" (that first beat of the 8 count bass). or if i do, i wonder how do i get back to stepping correctly at the one. esp when the guy is leading.
also any additional fun tips for frame? like what really helped me was thinking there is an orange in each armpit, and not to squeeze to hard or u get orange juice and not to be so extended it falls. lol
