I have a betta and balloon platy that both got swim bladder at the same time(not sure about the betta, but he had a curved spine and was floating weird/struggling to get up for air). The platy was completely vertical in the water.
I put them into a breeder net on the side of the tank for 2 days and didnt feed them. I felt bad, and they were looking healthy(both upright, no struggling to swim), so I fed them some food. Should I feed them the inside of a pea then let them out of the net?
How can I prevent this in the future? I have a clean tank so I dont know why this is happening.
Thanks for all of your help!
