SWFs do not work when re-published?

When I decompile a flash game's SWFs and edit them with Adobe Flash Cs5.5 it doesn't work properly. (maybe something to do with the actionscripts) Other Info: Someone told me you can't re-edit game SWFs for my private server with Adobe Flash CS5.5, but he did not tell me what to use
