I have sewlling, sharp pain in the forefront of my right foot for about 3 days now. It feels like a knife is stabbing the underside of my food near the toes. I tried elevating the foot, icing it, and taking NSAID's and it hasnt worked, the pain wont go away. I googled my symptoms and it said I might have metatarsalgia and to buy specific insoles. I bought the insoles but it's even more painful to walk in the insoles than without them. 2 months ago I had plantar fasciitis and I bought a night splint for it and the pain went away. Now I'm having pain but in a different area of my foot. Can someone tell me what I have and how to treat it. I dont play sports or run, but I do work 10 hour days standing and walking every day. I wear gym shoes to work. plshelp.
