I am a new member in this forum and i need some help, in fact i registered on this site to get some help as i was not able to find any help from anywhere. We live in a small township where we dont have much facilities, speciality related to health care.
Now this issue is related with my Dad. He is 60 years old and has been a diabetic and a heart patient with a high BP issue for many years now.
For the past 2 years he has been suffering with some issues with his kidneys, both of his kidneys have failed and are merely working now and for the past 1 year he has this swelling in his legs, which starts from his feet upto his thighs where thighs meet his hips. But now for the past one week this swelling has increased upto his abdomen and his body which is infected with this swelling is hard and it hurts if it is even touched.
I am not very literate in medical terms and so dont know what could be causing this issue.
The result of this swelling is that he is so week that he can barely walk on his own now... even to go to the urine or bathroom he has to take someone with him and he cant even stand on his own as it keeps hurting all the time.
We have been to many doctors and specialists but they all tell us different things with zero results.
My Dad's health is a big concern for me and s0 any help or suggestion is highly appreciated.
