I have a 2001 complete Jeep Wrangler standard transmission engine that I bought from a junk yard. Now I'm looking to buy a high mileage Jeep Wrangler body that can accept this engine as a drop-in.
My question is:
What year / model limitations are there on this idea? The engine is 2001, so does the wrangler also have to be 2001, or can I go up/down a year or two?
Does it matter what model the wrangler is (Rubicon,Sport,Limited)?
