Swapping 95 Chevy one ton automatic over to standard, suggestions?

I have a 1995 Chevy one ton dually, 454, with the 4L80E automatic transmission in it. I am changing the automatic over to the NV4500 5 speed standard transmission. A few questions actually. How do I get around the neutral safety switch on the automatic? Will I need to find another wiring harness for it? Will a small block flywheel and pressure plate work on my big block? Will my truck require the computer to be reset in order for the conversion to work? Can I use the back shaft of my (auto) drive shaft with the standard? If anyone has done this conversion and has ANY suggestions, I would greatly appreciate the advice. I am changing it out since I burnt up the automatic and already had the standard in a free donor truck.
