N Nicolas New member Aug 17, 2009 #1 i want to swap my 5.0 out of my ltd crown vic 1990 for a 5.0 HO those it fit under my hood ? because my usual mechanic told me that the HO engine is taller then the 5.0 non HO and it wont fit under my hood unless i mod the hood of my car.
