SUZUKI XJ 900 ????????

got this bike off a mate and after mending the wiring and putting the plug leads on the right way (LOL) i got it started it was ok for a few days then it made a dodgy like grating noise and now will only turn over slow with fully charged battery ............................. i will be striping the bike in a few days any bets what it is ????????????
