I've narrowed my search down to two cars that I'm considering getting. One is the Suzuki 2008 Sx4 crossover and the other is a Honda Fit 2009 (sport version if possible). This will be my first car purchase, so I don't know as much about cars as others might.

I like them both a lot for different reasons. I love all the room inside of the Honda Fit and how well it drove. But I like the outside look of the Suzuki Sx4 a little better. Though the Suzuki seemed a bit harder to get up to speed when getting onto a highway.

I would love to hear your opinions on both and which you think would be better in the long run. Thanks. :)

look at the "KIA SOUL"............blows both of them away, and you'll save $3,000.....not to mention it comes with a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty.......

suzuki sx4 a crossover?!?! hahahahahahhaha

just because it has 4wd doesn't make it a crossover.

get the honda jazz (fit in america) it drives really well and is built like a tank. plus hondas hold their values much more than any other company. i sold a 14 year old accord with 225,000 miles on it for $1,500. and i bet it's still running perfectly somewhere today.

it'll especially hold its value more than a suzuki.

Honda, no doubt about it, they are more reliable, and If you like both cars about equally well, the amazing reliability of honda's against the horrible reliability of suzuki's should make the Fit your choice. May I suggest to buy a slightly used car, 05-07, and get a much better car, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura? Just an idea, Good luck.

Hard to say.

The SX4 has more space and 4WD for snow. Easier to haggle for a cheaper price.

The Honda is more reliable, has a higher resale value, is better on gas, more fun to drive, and handles better.

Honda is always best in long run.
