Suzuki SV650s oil leak?

If you just had service (and it included an oil change), there are two good places to check first.

1. Check the drain plug.

2. Check the oil filter. If its not screwed in tight, or the o-ring got messed up, that would cause your drip.

Although, unscrewing either of those is going to drain all the oil thats in there.

warm it up,clean off all oil and sit there with a cup of tea and watch for it seeping/dripping...pay attention around the front sprocket seal/gear shaft seal and and external oil lines...you'll soon find it.

I have a SV650s 2001 it had a full service about 2 months ago, and I noticed today it has sprung a very slow oil leak on the underside of the engine, the window shows it has plenty of oil, any ideas what it could be and how to fix?

Check the drain plug for the oil. It is possible that it could need to be tightened.
