I am interested in buying a 1986 Suzuki Samurai from a well trusted friend and mechanic for $3000. It is kept in pristine condition and the motor and transmission have just been replaced. also, since he is my friend, he said if there is any part i need, he will take it off his "run down" samurai's and give the parts to me for free and install them. so the question is, is the vehicle worth the price? I have a ford explorer right now and i want something a little more 4 wheeling capable and a little more mpg friendly. i don't care if people think it rolls over, or that it is slow, i want to know if the price is worth it. i will do more wheeling than driving on road. thanks for your time.
