if you start this engine with the clutch cover off it will run oil out the shaft. but if you put it all together the clutch is not oiled and will burnup. has anyone ran into this before and what caused it? this engine has a new oil pump and cases for the gear and engine side.
this bike has two oil pumps. one for the engine and one for the transmission. both are new along with both center cases. the push rod has an oil groov to allow oil into the center of the clutch and will sling out through the clutch plates.

Dude are you sure your not burning clutches up? Im not blaming you or anything but pay attention to how u let your clutch out. If your reving 3500 RPM's and dump a clutch thats bad.

The engine is a "wet sump", meaning all parts in the bottom of the engine are bathed in oil.
The oil pump does not lubricate the clutch plates on that model.
The oil pump is only used to lubricate the top end & camshaft.
Perhaps your clutch "burns up" because the oil level is to low, or there is no free play in the clutch cable.
