My katana starts fine in choke. It will still run fine btn choke/run positions. It will die in run position. If I give it throttle in any position it will start to bog down.
I assumed it might be the varnish build up from bad gas, so I took apart the carbs, cleaned all the jets and insides. It was quite dirty, but I put it back on and it still continued to do the same thing.
I am starting to think it may have something to do with the throttle position sensor and/or ignition timing. I disconnected the tps wire, and it did not change anything, so I suspect the tps might not work. Anyone know how the tps (on the carberetor throttle body) works, and what the symptoms may be if it does not work? Will the bike still run fine without it?
