Hi, I've got my Katana 600 (2000 model) givin me quite a tough time in this winter!! It seems be be getting over fueled in some way, cos yesterday after driving it for 7-8 miles I stopped someplace for 15 minutes, and upon trying to start it up again, it didn't come up.. I could smell fuel as well, but no visible / prominent leakage.. It took me many long self starts to go before the thing would fire up, and as soon as I hold the clutch again it'd gradually die out on me again.

Next morning, I check and there's a hole pile of fuel dripped below it, and upon removing the tank, and checking, I couldn't see any pipes with any leakage, but the whole box / chamber of air filter (Air cleaner element) was filled with fuel (as if somebody had poured it in..
So, what I'm trying to understand is what's happening.. I understand it does have a bit of problem with the compression, but is there any way that the fuel is being reversed and ending up in the air filter chamber somehow ??
It's just kinda mysteriously disturbing to me. Please help, and advise how I should proceed.
Thanks in advance.
