suzuki katana 600 1993?

im haveing some trouble with my 1993 suzuki katana 600. sometimes everything will run just fine on it. other times it will run really choppy. and yet other times it wont even idle. several times when i down shift it will just die. i just had the carb. seats replaced and the tank relined. its been driven 90 miles since then before it showed any trouble. it almost seems like only one cylinder is firing sometimes. but then when i really give it gas sometimes the other cylinder will kick in. any body got any ideas what it could be?

Could be several things-a partially blocked carb jet on the cylinder that is cutting in and out. A problem with an electronic component ie the coil or perhaps the juice flowing to the offending coil.

Since you did not mention what the bike ran like before having the carb work done, I am guessing without seeing or testing the bike as to what the problem is. It sorta sounds like the carb issue has not been totally resolved, and that is where I would start looking.
