I am thinking of getting a 600cc class bike because I am not ready to move to the 750cc just yet, Anyways I want to know which is a more powerful, faster, better handling machine; the 2009 Yamaha R6S or the 2009 Suzuki GSXR600? I love the design of the yamaha r6s and its light weight of 410 pounds wet. The suzuki GSXR600 is also cool design but being the very smallest size of 600 in the GSXR class makes you feel weak because you're getting the smallest of the GSXR's and what is the horsepower rating of the GSXR600 compared to the 123hp on the Yamaha R6S? But if the two were to race each other which one would win? Both seem to be almost the same but what makes each one special? ANyways tell me all you know about the two and which one of those bikes you would recommend me to get? I would greatly appreciate your answer. Thank You.

Buy the one you think looks best. The real world performance difference between those bikes could hide under a dollar bill.

The better rider would win. Get the one you think you can ride the best.

No need to get a 750 or Liter bike anymore. The new 600cc bikes are fast enough. If your a sissy get the bike most easiest to pick up off the ground after you tip it over at a stop light.

You new riders are a trip sometimes, but it is always worth a good laugh
when I see you.

Motorcyclist test show the R6 to put out 109.7 hp at the rear wheel and the GSXR600 109.0 hp. Most of today's bikes are so close in performance that it depends more on the rider's ability than on the machine. On the street you will never even begin to approach the top end of either machine even if your ability is up to it. Look at the stats. Rossi has been winning on an R1 over and over even though the GSXR1000 beats the R1 hands down in power. It's all in how the bike is ridden.
