I have a 1980 Suzuki GS1000G that runs fairly well, but for some reason when I took it out of winter storage the Low Oil Pressure indicator light came on. I tried doing an oil change, including changing the filter, but the light continues to be on. I have ridden the bike minimally, but haven't noticed any problems riding. I don't want to replace the oil pump or anything if I don't have to, but am looking for ideas about what the problem might be and ways of making sure the bike is functioning properly. I definitely don't want to have the bike seize up on me. Also wondering if oil pressure issues are common for the GS series.
