Are the chokes automatically closed or open. I'm not sure, the bike didn't come with a choke cable. Trying to problem solve so info is appreciated, Thanks!!
Its a 82 Suzuki gs 550 L
Around that time Suzuki used an enrichener instead of a choke.
It served the same purpose, giving extra gas during starts.
It was even labeled as a "choke".
It should be located on the left side, near the fuel petcock and carburetor.
Down is "on", up is "off". There should be a little spring clip/detent to hold it in position.
Push it down when cold starting, flip it up when engine speed increases.
Year? Make? Model #?
Chokes are usually in the run position.
They have to be moved to the start position manually - by cable or a lever on the side of the carburetor.
