Suzanne Mubarak, the wife of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, is likely one of the few women in Egypt not being pressured to adopt the niqab or hijab — not that doing so actually stops the significant level of harassment faced by most Egyptian women. Mubarak, however, thinks it's all a load of bunk. She recently told the Al Ahram paper that sexual harassment was limited to a couple of incidents blown out of proportion by the Western media and radical Islamists.
