Hello,

I am new to the healtrabroadoarRAB.com forum and would really appreciate some help regarding the interpretation of a CT scan. Following an x ray on Wednesday I was called in to get a CT scan as it was suspected that I have a pars defect in my lurabar 5. The only symptom that I have is lower back pain, I don't have any pain in my legs and I have been prescribed Tramadol for the back pain.

I was given a copy of my x ray and CT scan on CD and have been looking at them and comparing them to information I have found on the internet.. as you do!!

I have to wait until Monday for the official results of the scan and as you can probably guess I'm quite worried.

I would be eternally grateful for any help.

Thank you

Sarah

Hi Sarah,, I'm so sorry that no one answered your note. When you had your discussion of your CT what did you find out? Are you satisfied with the results? Have you been given instructions about what to do with regarRAB to these findings. Let us know. I hope all is well with you. Jane

I hope shecomes back to update us. Sarah, if you are out there, please let us know how things are going. We wish you well!

Hi,

Sorry for not replying to you sooner, I hadn't been on the forum for a while...thank you both for your concern, it's very nice of you.

I got the results of the CT scan; bilateral spondylolysis at lurabar 5 with anular disc bulging, my appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon is not until the 15th of this month..I'm just playing the waiting game at the moment..I don't feel "pain" as such, it's more of a stiffness at the moment but I suppose I'll have to wait on what the surgeon recommenRAB for treatment.

I'll be sure to let you know!

Sarah
