Surgery to change head shape

Well... OK, but I actually do have a more serious problem. When I look in the mirror (it's more obvious in photos) it looks as if I have more hair on the left side of my head. The problem is, I don't. I've checked it and both sides are the same length and thickness. It was even noticeable when I had REALLY short hair. I have this huge bone ridge that runs down the top back of the left side, which isn't on the right. It also seems more rounded than the right. What the heck is it?

most people don't have symmetrical heads.. something caused your head to have that irregular shape whether it was an injury when you were young or just happenstance (my head would look REALLY irregular and funny if I shaved my head, I have odd pits and lumps on my skull). You may actually want to have your hair cut unevenly to make it "look" even. I have to do that but not because of my skull.. my hair curls differently on each side so if I get it cut even it doesn't look right.

The only way you can "fix" a hair line - and I assume you mean making it lower- is to get hair plugs put in. Which is costly, takes time, and isn't always successful. That is what Hair Club for Men is here in the States, somewhere where men go to have hair implants added to "fill in" their own hair line....

DKD,

I have been following all of your threads about your head size and shape. I understand what a big issues this is for you...but we all have things we would love to change, but simply can't. The deeper issue here is that you have to eventually accept your self as you are, with all the flaws and everything. Put your mind to learning and growing as a young man, and hopefully you will learn to accept others, and yourself just as you are. physical appearance really becomes lower on the list as you mature.
For now, I think the good haircut, maybe a cool hat, or even some nice glasses, (clear lenses, if you don't need glasses) might take the focus off your head. As always, I wish you the best!
