Surgery on my foot!

Say I Am You

Alright, I'm going to have to have surgery on my foot within' a month or two. I'm going to the doctors next wednesday to have them schedual an appointment for them to do the surgery.

I have what is called a "bone spur". It's on the top of my foot and it's an extra bone that has grown. My father had something like this except on the bottom of his foot. If it is not taken care of it can get to a point where it'll be so sharp it'll peirce through the skin. I don't want that at all! But now my foot is starting to have alot of cramps and it goes numb-ow. It hurts. x.x

I'm afraid of operations, docotrs, hospitals, needles-almost everything that has to do with that kinda' stuff. So how am I gonna' handle it?! They said if I have the surgery on my foot they said I have to sit on my ass for a week or two. Damn! That's along time for me!

How am I suppose to handle this situation?
Here's some pics. below of my foot read the captions under em'.

Close up of the bone spur. Egh, I hate it >.

Damn, that sounds a lot worse than my foot problem.

It sounds rather painful, I really hope it all goes well with the surgery! You'll heal quick though and 2 weeks will go fast, don't worry.

Be strong.

Ain't really much to be scared of during operations except anesthetic medication. That's the only part that scared me when I was bleeding to death and had to be operated on. Other than that, take advantage and SIT ON YOUR ASS! Play Diablo 2, Ultima Online...or some other 'addicting' online game to pass the time. You'll miss sitting on your ass when you finally have to walk again.

Ouch. Yeah, I understand your fear. I am deathly afraid of needles, and operations.

I have had a few friends who have had surgery on their feet, and they came out okay. I spent most of comic-con wheeling around my friend, having fun running into the stupid people who walked in front of us.

You will deal with it by...being asleep while they operate on you! So don't worry.

Alright, I went to the docotors and they said it's a sist (sp?) And it's extra calcium in the foot but they said it's not something that is suppose to bruise nor hurt. Which mine does.

What they told me is I could have surgery on my foot or live with it and I chose to live with it-I have been for years now why stop now? Ya' know?
My next appointment will be in two months unless it bruises then I have to go in as soon as I notice it. x.x

Oh-well. All in all, No surgery (right now)! yay! :)
