surgery on arm

I got surgery on my broken left arm two months ago and ever since I have had a numbness on the side of my left hand. It is really annoying and I am wondering when or even if it will go away. Any insight would be appreciated.

They probably cut a nerve during surgery and it will heal. Nerves can take 8-10 months to heal back together and you may find it announces it's healing with lots of pain...lightning like flashes of pain...to tell you it has re-joined.

So watch for signs of those electrical bolts going up and down your arm and you will know it's healing. Unless you are one of those lucky people who heal up smoothly and you'll just notice one day that the feeling is coming back. How I envy those folks! I never do things the easy way!
