Make the font bigger.

If its size 11 for example, do size 12.

Or add an extra enter in between paragraphs, so instead of this

You do this.

I have a 10 page research paper due tomorrow in my Developmental Psychology class and I feel like I've said all there can be said on my topic, but I'm a page short. I've read and re-read my paper and I really don't know how I would make it longer without it being redundant.

In your experience, about how much would be taken off for missing a page? My paper's really good otherwise, and I always get A's on papers. If my paper is excellent do you think my professor would forgive the extra page? I also went above and beyond the amount of sources she wanted and only used high quality sources (scientific journals).

I would ask her myself but I emailed her earlier today and she never responded ...

you should just change the font. APA approved fonts are times new roman and currier new. the currier new is alot bigger and adds on length.

Adjust the font a little bit, add two spaces instead of one between a period and the first letter of the next sentence, and try to add in some analogies.
Maybe even substitute some words for bigger words, and if there's a title you can add a little more space between the title and the first paragraph.

I would say, maybe ten points might be taken off your grade. That's just a guess though, I figured ten points for each page. But if you did the best job that you thought you could do and still didn't make it to the ten page mark, I would definitely make a note of that on a Post-It and attach it to the paper when you hand it in.

One thing I've learned in college is that a lot of professors "up" the page limit by a few to make us students expand and challenge our thinking process. But a lot of times, like in your case, that might end up hurting our grade than helping it!
Good luck.
