Suppose you were C.E.O. of Harley Davidson, What changes would you make?

speaking for myself if I was CEO of HD, the first thing I would do would fire Willie Davidson, the 2nd thing I would fire all the Engineers and hire independent Japanese Engineers
 
I would make sure dealers had parts for the bikes and not just t shirts, coffee cups, and stuff for pets. You know like fork seals and replacement mufflers.
 
I would get rid of the dealers that don't take good care of their customers
 
I'd limit production of all models to keep demand high. Everyone wants what they can't have.
 
I would take the VRSC 1150cc engine and copy the design, except make it a 1500 and use that engine in the Softail and Dyna lines. The V-Rod engine is a gem, it is time for HD to use what they learned when building that engine and use it in other models.
 
I'd start producing a muscle scooter. Not a cut down Harley, but a more powerful yet fuel efficient light weight bike. Something for people who want a Harley but who can't afford/handle a big bike. Like a Harley that can be used inner city because it's light weight enough to weave through traffic, but still has the feel of a Harley.
