"supplementary service error: unexpected data value"

i keep getting "supplementary service error: unexpected data value" everytime i try to check how many text messages i've used (#674#) .. can anyone please help me with this issue? thanks!
 
they work, Tmo may be having an issue with it in your area. No issues where i am at. I dial #MSG# and call and it works. Have you tried a battery pull?
 
I get that every now and again... I just figure it's the network doing something... it normally works if I wait a few minutes and try it again
 
yeah, i've done many battery pulls and have tried in different areas. it didn't happen with my other blackberry pearl :\.. it was having some problems so i got sent a new one and now this one has that one problem
