Superman Returns was a dry ass movie *spoilers*

surprisingly there was a lot less dialouge than a lot of movies.

and there were some pretty stupid parts, like when he was on the stretcher and they were trying to give him oxygen, but he's got no problem floating in space.

i think they ruined it with the kid being his. i mean it's a cool twist, but i think it kind of ruins it.

there were a lot of other things i laughed at. but all in all it was a highly over rated movie.

yeah, i liked kevin spacey's role the best.

and they made superman way too invincible. it looked like he was struggling with the half of the yacht, but was having no problem lifting up an island filled with kryptonite

Them trying to give him oxygen was an obvious futile attempt to save his life. The movie hints at these undertones, I don't see how you missed it.

Anyway, here's what it's really about.

at first i thought it was superman flying through the ship.

i think they should've given the kid a little more action, like him going to save superman in the water instead of lois, or at least the kid opening the door.

i can't believe kumar didn't say one fucking word.

i also liked some of the references like the world on superman's shoulders, and when he was holding the car from underneath.

when perry was telling the business section to write an article on how superman would effect the economy, i was thinking he must be pretty shitty for the economy. i bet a lot of cops and firefighters got laid off because of him.

He's not a negative effect on the economy, people would feel safer and shit with him around so I would imagine their would be definite spikes of increase when he saves the world.

how's feeling safe going to increase trade and commerce?

i'm just thinking a lot of cops and shit got laid off and ended up drinking themselves into a stupor or working at mcdonalds.
