Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition help?

So, I can beat the arcade mode on easiest (usually), I can hardly beat it on Very Easy, and I CAN'T beat it on Easy! So, what should I do? Any suggested strategies? Do I pick one character and MASTER everything with them, or are there certain move strategies? I really like the characters Guy and Yang, so any help with that would be great. Oh, and some of the trial missions are basically impossible. How do you suggest I complete those? Really struggling with this game, and I don't want it to be a waste of money. Any suggestions will help!
To be more specific, I'm just looking for good move strategies and good character suggestions. And what's weird is that Marvel Vs. Capcom is WAY easy for me. I have beaten that on the hardest difficulty, but I'm having the hardest time with Super Street Fighter. So, yeah, character suggestions and good move strategies. That is all. :)

With any fighting game, especially Street Fighter and especially if your new to fighting games, the first bunch of times playing will be hard. Unless your a prodigy, don't expect to learn quickly and don't think it is a waste of time, it's ok.

It would be helpful for me to help you if your were a bit more specific. What are you finding most difficult? I know your talking about arcade mode and the cpu, all I can say is wait for the computer to do something stupid and don't rush in too much. Use your focus attack too, cpu's are pretty dumb and will walk right into them.

With character selection, I would say "yes" to picking one character first and learn everything about them. You dont have to start with Ryu and Ken... but between Guy and Yang, Guy is a very very difficult character to master. Yang is somewhat easier.

With strategies and becoming a better player, sure arcade mode is a start, but you really learn once you get online and play other people. I mean, I hope your goal with this game is to beat other players, but arcade mode wont teach you everything. Strategies that work on a cpu, will most likely fail against another person.

With trial mode, come back later once you start understanding how to link combos together, just remember timing is everything, mashing will get you nowhere.
