super mini bike help?

me and my brother got a super mini bike yesterday and i have a few questions on it.

1. are mini bikes supposed to have one hand brake or two because this one only has it on the left side.

2. if the battery is dead will pull starting it on recharge the battery

3. i noticed it was once started by a key but it looks like my bros friend broke the key and hot wired it if i have a pull start would there be a point to the key start because it is also has an electric start button so do i need the key to electric start it?

only one hand brake.

running a bike with a dead battery will sometimes recharge the battery if the bike is ridden at high rpm's. Most times you will need to charge or replace battery because the charging systems on bikes are not enough to charge.

no key needed if it is hot wired.
