Me & my boyfriend have been together for 3 years and have been to hell and back already. Both of us have had a really bad string of luck starting in February when we lost the baby I was carring.
Since then we've both been in and out of the hospital, in car accidents, kicked out from place to place, ect. We're young and struggling. At the moment we're living at my mother's sharing a little room with 5 other people. We've been having a really hard time.
For a while we've both been working, saving up, trying to get a place of our own. But if an apartment asks for first, last, & security we can't afford it. If it's $800 a month, no utilities included -we cant afford it. We try for rooming houses, boarding houses, and studio apartments but none will rent to us because they only want one person per room and such. We live and work in Quincy, MA. I've applied for housing and section 8 but that could take forever.
Is there a site or something i could go to that would help people like us find a place? Im not picky. I'd even go live in a homeless shelter but the ones around here only take in just women or just men. And i dont care where i live, i just want my boyfriend to be there with me. Does anyone know how to help me?
