I'm foreign student, currently studying at UCR, University of California; Riverside.
I've been living in my apartment for almost 7 months now, and I'm using TimeWarner Cable high speed internet and digital cable. After the second month of using the so called high speed internet, it started to be very low in speed that I can barely browse the internet and it really takes time to watch a youtube video.
I called the company many many times and 3/4 of the times I call I stay on hold for about 40 minutes then they close the line, I had about 4 different appointment (apartment visit) to fix my problem and everytime they tell me you're only getting 20% of what you're paying for and they never fixed it. I pay about $150-200 monthly and it isn't worth it.
In the last apartment visit the guy told me that he can do nothing about it, the company say nothing is wrong but he saw the net is only 20% working, and as he said, he reported the problem to his boss, that was about 2 months ago and now still I have a very, very terrible internet speed.
I'm not sure what should I do, should I sue the company? (I think it's the place I live it has low signal receive but they never told me)
I'm 18 years old. and I really don't know what to do, I would appreciate some help.
PS: please if you'll tell me to sue, let me know what should I say in the court.
