As some of you may know, I am currently on my 3rd w610i handset. I think I am going to have to send it back.
The first one had an earpiece problem (buzzy) and the last one had problems with the 4 and 6 keys when texting. Didn't work some of the time. Seems to be slower than the rest or something. There was a delay on my k750i as well but it wasn't the same. I have looked at the cursor does stop flashing when it won't work. I can't press the 4 key but the other ones work when this happens. The 4 key is bad on this one, rather than the 4 and 6 that was on the other.
I don't think it's the way I am pressing the keys as other people have done it with the phone and I have tried pressing them slowly, quickly, hard, soft!
This phone is perfect for me in every way apart from this fault. So, I have 14 days to send this one back and I don't know what to get to replace it. My recent phones have included a razr and k750i but I used to be a big fan of nokia.
The features I want are:
- Good camera. Must have flash and auto focus.
- Memory expansion (would like to use it as a mp3 player)
That's pretty much it but they are important. I sent the w850i back beacuse of camera problems. I am not a fan of Samsung as they (used to at least) not ring and vibrate at the same time...
I am in the UK and will be getting the phone direct from Vodafone. Any help very muchy appreciated!!!
