Ive recently begun looking for scooters, but figured i want better handling and speed. ESPECIALLY for a more urban environment (pot holes, speed bumps, idiots, etc.) So ive turned away from that option and have been looking for a motorcycle. Now ive been looking at Dual sport bikes, and have seen SOME can be GREAT for the pavement. I will be doing most of my riding on the road. But im not sure what exactly to start looking for. Ive also heard about 'SuperMotos' but dont have much of an idea of how those run. Im looking for something that can handle the above stated, and has pretty good handling. not looking for something super expensive. just looking for something to take me from point A to point B. Will NOT be doing highway driving as this will be my very first bike. And something that can handle about 250 pounds but still go about 40-50 on the road. and nothing past 5000 bucks. also i doesnt have to be a dual sport or SuperMoto suggestion. but not really looking for a standard. but mainly leaning towards dual sport. any and all suggestions are welcome.
