suggestions for a first car and to modify?

im looking for something that has front wheel or all wheel drive. rear wheel wont do since its been snowing like crazy for the past few years during the winter. My dad wants to get a jeep and im NOT driving a jeep on the weekends! Im getting a job soon and i want to buy my own car to work on and have fun with and to take me from point A to B. any suggestions? It MUST be all wheel or front wheel drive.
