yeah the title says it all .
please suggest some good books to read possibly some that are long I am a fast reader and can read a 50 page book in almost an hour and half. please some that are over 200 pages possilbly. also no biographys please.

thank you in advance to the people who have answered this question and took time out of your precious lives to help me.....

Twilight-fantasy (very awsome)
Memoirs of a Geisha-historical novel (somewhat, hard to put into a catagory)
Crank-realistic fiction (written in poetry form)
Harry Potter-fantasy (you probably already read this but still one of the greats)
Dragon's Bait-fantasy (I loved this book soo much its not even funny)
Chicken Soup for the ___ Soul-nonfiction (they are all good)

Try Elizabeth Peters or Barbara Michaels. They're quite interesting, and their genres are romance/mystery/thriller that subliminally educate you in various topics.

If that's not your thing, Dianna Wynne Jones is a very good fantasy author. She wrote "Howl's Moving Castle", and the book is just as good as the movie, in my opinion. The sequel, "Castle in the Air" is also very good.

Then there's the Twilight series, which you've probably already read.

It's hard to suggest books without knowing your interests. Ummm ... Bryce Courtenay's book, "The Power of One" is HUGE and also very life-changing. Haven't read it myself, but I know plenty of people who have, and loved it.

Hope this helps!

PS - Also, just because you are a teenager, don't limit yourself to teenage books. Try everything. The adult books can be just as entertaining.

Oh, and have a look at Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

50 pages for an hour and a half really isn't that much!

I'd suggest anything by Jodi Picoult and Sarah Dessen.

I really like Maureen Johnson's books (13 Little Blue Envelopes, and Girl at Sea) and also Zoey Deal (A-List Series.)

try those! i'm 15 and love them.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
Pendragon series by D. J. MacHale
Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling
Also, Margaret Peterson Haddix is a good author, I've liked most of her books.

These books are all definately over 200 pages.

Uglies by Scott Westerfield
Pretties by Scott Westerfield
Specials by Scott Westerfield
Extras by Scott Westerfield

Oh and as the first person suggested 13 Little Blue Envelopes

It would help if you gave your age (13, or 19?) and interests, but here goes:

http://www.life-after-harry-potter.com

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book along with a brief summary of adult content. There is also a "Reader's Choice" list of favorite books, and a list of heroine sorcery fantasy books.

Also these: http://www.interleaves.org/~rteeter/grtother.html#great . Lots of lists, but I especially like the Harvard Classics list - all the books that I should have read, but (mostly) never did.

Finally, these: http://www.awardannals.com/wiki/Honor_roll:Genres - pick your genre, find the best books ranked by how many awards they've won.

I hope this helps.
